"When someone asks me how I decide on the subject of my next book, I say, “I write about what I most need to know.” That’s because when any of us writes, we discover things we would never have thought about if we had not been writing. If I’m in grief, I write books like Seven Choices: Finding Daylight After Loss Shatters Your World and Tough Transitions. If I need more balance between my inner and outer life, I write A Sacred Primer: The Essential Guide to Quiet Time and Prayer. If I want to be inspired by others, I write a biography like Sister Bernadette: Cowboy Nun From Texas or edit my father’s spiritual autobiography, From The Plow to the Pulpit." Elizabeth Neeld.
