Adrian Mourby is an award-winning author and drama producer. He is also a journalist, novelist, hotel historian and columnist for Opera Now Magazine.

He has had eight books published in the UK. Among the most recent was an illustrated guide about places around the world that have inspired great works of literature. Rooms of One's Own was Highly Commended as Narrative Travel Book of the Year by the British Guild of Travel Writers in 2019. A sequel, Rooms with a View was subsequently published by Icon Press. Rooms with a View tells the secret stories of 50 grand hotels around the world.
